Attention: Valeria and Gimble Intro thread

Please welcome our newest members of the group, Valeria and Gimble!

Valeria is playing a red-headed aasimar paladin of the goddess sune. And Gimble is playing a wizened gnome wizard.

((For those of you who've been around awhile, enjoy with me the humorous parallels to Andrianna and Geld. And then, let's forget about it ))

Guys, I want to get you two into the narrative ASAP. First, some backstory on the current situation:

The players are currently in the small teeth, in Southern Amn, infiltrating the stronghold of Keisan, cleric of cyric. He is searching for information on tomes and artifacts that could lead to the uncovering of 'The Halichondath' - a rod of creation forged by the overgod Ao. Anyways, that aside, let's assume that his men captured you two during your journeys, and have you locked up, with Gimble doing research on the Halichondath and its locations through history.

I think it would give us a strong theme to work with, and you could present a ton of knowledge to the player characters that will be useful in their upcoming quests.

It might be interesting if Gimble and Valeria were travel companions. Can you guys think of any reason that you might be together?

Gimble would have left Silverymoon in search of texts on the arcane. If he had taken anyone it would have been a warmage or the like, so it would make sense if Val had met him in another city. She's suggested that Gimble may have picked up some work researching for her temple. The city Val is from could easily be Baldur's Gate or Beregost, as they are close to the coveted libraries of Candlekeep.
