Holy LEVEL UP, Batman!
Hey guys,
So upon reviewing the character advancement chart for 5e...apparently you only need 300 experience to reach 2nd level!

"That's crazy! That's nuts!"
So, your daily posting bonus obviously cannot be 50 xp. I usually do a posting bonus of 5% of level 1-2 total experience needed for the first 5 levels, and increase it afterward.
5% of 300 is 15, but I'll be generous and bump it to 20.
So, 20 experience every time you post. For now.
Cheers

I think the intent with 5e's design is to quickly get you to third level, and then the XP chart widens out a lot. Sort of like a DCC funnel, really basic at the start. But yeah, 20xp is good

This breaks it down pretty well.

Yep; the intended progression is basically that you hit level two at the end of your first table-top session, and hit level three at the end of your second or third, at which point you have your "I am an adventurer!" badge and things slow down.
That said, I don't really care at all about how we handle that - just wanted to second the notion that 5E's advancement arc is rather more frontloaded than previous editions.
