How the dice roller works

Hi there.

The Dice Roller is a finicky bitch. She will not work on the first post of any thread.

As you can see. No roll.

Now that this is no longer the first post, I can roll.

Beneath the "posting box" as I write this, there lies the Dice Roller.

Roll ALL DICE that you need to roll at once.

For example, let's pretend that I need to roll a to-hit roll for myself.

I need a D20, and a D8 (for damage)

Here we go...

Wow! How neat is that!

Now what if I needed to write a combat post?

Well, I would first decide on my action, then I would ROLL THE DICE.

Then, I would edit my blank post attached to the dice rolls, and describe what I'm doing (and the results thereof).

It's a backwards way of working, but the only way that works.

So

1) Create post, decide what you're doing, and roll!
2) Edit post, and write the body of it
3) Don't die.
