Backstory: :: The daughter of a Noble-woman, Anna's life was complicated starting the minute she was born. It became immediately obvious that the man that was supposed to be her father was in fact not, mostly because of her rather Orcish features. After a few weeks of arguing it was discovered that her mother had been cheating on her husband. Before he could have her killed, Anna's mother fled with her into the wilds. The two of them were able to survive for just over a week before being found by a tribe of raiding orcs and humans. Before any questions could be asked, her mother was slaughtered and with her dying breath asked her murderer to take care Anna. The one who killed her mother, who she would refer to as Father for the coming years, took and raised her as his own. There she learned the tactics of the raider and quickly showed that she was adept at luring people into traps before killing and taking their goods. By luck, on one such occasion she was raiding the man who had been married to her mother. Before killing him a look of recognition flashed across his face and he realized that before him was the girl he once tried to have killed. He shouted her name as she slit his throat, but wondered how a man she had never seen before had known her name. She brought this up to the one she called Father, who told her the events of the day he had come to find her. Offering her his blade and his neck he fully expected to die. Instead of taking his life, she thanked him for giving her hers, and fled into the woods. She lived off the land for a number of years, only venturing into villages when she needed something she could not obtain for herself. After spending time with the plants and the animals she learned that she had come to form a bond with them and began protecting them from people who would venture into what she deemed her territory. One night, several years into her self-imposed exile, she had a dream that herself and a group of shadowed figures would be tapped to do something great. Concerned about the nature of the dream she headed to the village she had visited several times over the years to visit a woman that had a reputation for being able to read a person's dreams. She could smell the smoke before she could see it, and ran to the village as quickly as she could. There she saw the remnants of her former tribe attacking the village and trying to kidnap the inhabitants. She helped the people fight off the invaders, but was incapable of saving the oracle from a grim fate. As the woman lie dying Anna detailed her dream as best she could remember. The oracle confirmed she was destined for something great, but that she would also be an angel of death for people she held dear. Determined to see what fate had in store for her Anna made her way into the world outside her forest.
